Biography
Kate represents clients in family law matters, as well as cases involving real estate, guardianships and conservatorships, and trust and estates. Kate is sensitive to the needs of her clients while aggressively advocating for their interests.
Prior to joining Messick Law, Kate served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Adam Johnson in Dakota County. Before her law journey, Kate was the director of the White Bear Sailing School, as well as a ski and sailing coach. During her undergraduate time, she was the captain of the nationally ranked varsity sailing team at Hobart and William Smith.
Kate is a 2020 graduate from Hobart and William Smith Colleges located in Geneva, New York and a 2024 graduate of Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While at Mitchell Hamline, Kate was an associate on Mitchell Hamline Law Review Volume 50.
Kate resides in St. Paul with her fiancé and their dog Fozzy. She spends time skiing and sailing, as well as reading, camping, golfing, and time with family and friends.
