Biography
Matt specializes in family law, advocating for long-term solutions that will serve families of all types and defuse conflict wherever possible. Matt favors a creative, collaborative style and caters his practice to meet the individual needs and goals of his clients, striving for certainty and the advancement of equity.
Prior to joining Messick Law, Matt worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Richelle M. Wahi in the First Judicial District. Along with assisting in her judicial duties, Matt worked with Judge Wahi on local and statewide organizations working to eliminate bias from court operations, promote equal access to the court, and inspire public trust and confidence in the Minnesota Judicial Branch.
Matt lives in St. Paul with his partner and their very needy cat. He enjoys cooking, volleyball, trivia, and movies.
